The new seal of quality — establishing standards

Kalterersee, is produced according to the strict rules and standards established in the Kalterersee-Charter. Sounds interesting! These special wines are easily identifiable because they are stamped with a newly created quality seal of approval that records the vintage and the words “Kalterersee D.O.C.”. Every year, a selected jury of experts carefully evaluates the wines in a blind taste test to ensure they meet the established quality criteria. The decisions of the jury are incontestable and final. A bit of courage is definitely needed to voluntarily subject oneself to the standards dictated by the Charter.
