In the Isarco (Eisack) Valley, it is almost exclusively white wines that are produced. The only exception is the "Klausner Laitacher", which in addition to 50-60% Vernatsch, usually also contains Portugieser, Lagrein, and Pinot Nero. The area of cultivation amounts to 270 hectares (667 acres).
