As with the Isarco Valley, the Terlan basin is also a typical white wine zone. Without a listing of the grape variety, the name "Südtirol Terlaner" indicates a blend of white wines that contains a minimum of 50% Pinot Bianco or Chardonnay. In all other cases, the variety must be provided. The cultivation ranges over 153 hectares (378 acres).
