Historic residences

All along the wein.weg (wine.trail) and in the village centre, visitors to Kaltern can find historical information about some of the buildings, houses and residences. Currently, informative plaques have been put up wherever a piece of history was made – mainly on house facades, where wine history has a story to tell, but also on the walls of churches, chapels and castles.

There is even a brochure, which summarizes the 57 historical buildings and offers a general overview of the entire territorial marking system that wein.kaltern has created in Kaltern.
